As I will be away from the school this Wednesday through the coming weekend, I thought it best to provide you with next week's Blue Note today.
Science Fair Dates
Projects are due next week, on Wednesday 03 Feb.
They should be evaluated by you on Friday 05 Feb. and returned to students for revisions.
Revised projects will be returned to you on Wednesday 10 Feb.
On Tuesday 16 Feb. members of the Science Council will begin setting up projects in the Gym. Sack lunches will be eaten in classrooms beginning on Tuesday 16 Feb. Judging will also take place that afternoon.
On Wednesday and Thursday 17-18 February classes will schedule times to walk-through the Fair in the Gym, Sack lunches will be eaten in classrooms both days.
The Science Fair Family Night open house will take place on Thursday evening, 18 February, from 5:00-6:30.
Science Fair projects will be returned to students during the morning on Friday 19 Feb. The Gym will be available for regular lunch that day.
Great 301 Opportunity
Judith LeFevre will be offering a 301-approved whys-and-hows workshop on co-teaching to Marshall-staff only on Wednesday 10 Feb from 3:30-5:30 in the SCIENCE LAB. The full syllabus can be downloaded online and you can sign up for the class via TPEC (course #49154).
If you haven't fulfilled your 301 menu yet, this is a great opportunity to get in a few hours without having to travel to a different site to do so.
TPEC TEAR Reports
Several errors have been found on teacher's TEAR Reports across the district. So they're going to be reissuing them soon. That's pretty much all I know about this situation. That and I think the changes might raise our school letter grade (it was a B on the previous report)... Might.
As before, you will be asked to sign this form and return it to me. Expect to see it some time in the next few weeks.
