Ahhh. Do you feel that? A sensation like catching a first glimpse of sunshine after rain... to me that's how it feels right now, as everyone begins to really settle in to the new school year.

Not that the week hasn't had it's share of craziness; like every week, it has! But how pleasant, especially by comparison, the last couple-three days have been up here in the front office, filled as they've been with more sunshine than usual, both the literal and figurative varieties. It's been obvious to us up here that we're now well into "the swing of things" as we close out this week, the fifth full week of our school year.
And with a triskaideka-payday, no less. Yay!

You're probably already aware: Lara Herring (para in Stern) is out on maternity. Carissa Dutton (para in Ronn) goes out for the same starting today.
And now, we're super-pleased to announce that we've got another mom-to-be in our midst!
But who? I'm not telling, though it's not really a secret anymore. Nevertheless, you're gonna have to figure it out for yourself.
You may start guessing now!
Hint: she's due early-April (and it is not Mrs. Coe).
NAU Practicum
ESE 308 has requested that we find a place for five practicum students who need to complete 45 hours of work in elementary school classrooms. They can work in any classroom that includes students with "high incidence disabilities such as ADHD, SLD or students who are on 504 plans."
