I think we'll let this post be the last Blue Note of the year. Hope you're okay with that. Next Friday, in lieu of reading through yet another long, wordy Note from me, I hope you'll be able to spend your time finishing up your check-out process. As always, once you're done with that, you're free to go and get your summer on.
Change Is The Only Constant
A few revisions have been made to our 2017-2018 staffing arrangement since I last updated you about all that stuff via email on 18 April. Here's what's transpired in the last month or so:
- We hired Russ Kasch as an Instructional (RTI) Specialist
- We hired Casey Reger to teach 1st grade
- We hired Sarah Milios to teach 4/5 SEI
- We hired Jessica Beekman to teach 3rd grade
- We reassigned Jen Burgoon to teach PE
- We reassigned Cheryl Paulsen to teach first grade
A few classroom-moves will also take place soon, to accommodate some of these aforementioned reassignments. If you're curious to see who's going where, have a look at the freshly updated 2017-2018 floorplan.
Summer FACTS Reminder
Don't forget: "It's official. Our school will host summer FACTS again beginning on 12 June and running throughout the summer vacation until 28 July.
FACTS will use classrooms in the first hall (Colt Crossing) as well as the Gym, Computer Lab, and Library this summer."
