Cold unsettled weather through Sunday. A near-perfectly golden-ratioed large-scale cyclonic is bringing us our wind today and probably a little snow on the morrow.

Outlook365
FUSD will be migrating our email accounts into the new Outlook365 system starting tonight, 08 May. You were notified of this in an email earlier in the week and have been asked to not access your FUSD email beginning at 6:00 PM this evening. After midnight on 09 May you may follow the directions that were included in the email, IMPORTANT FUSD Email Update, to set-up your new account.
End-of-the-year BBQ
We will endure the chaos (and fun!) of the end of the year BBQ on 14 May. We are going to try to run this event on a more-or-less more regular schedule this year than we have in year's past. I will adjust the bell schedule on Thursday accordingly. Please make every effort to have your students ready to pass through the serving line according to the following schedule:

301 Day
FUSD will convene on Monday 03 August for the first 301 Day of the 2015-2016 school year. Solution Tree grading and assessment guru Thomas Guskey will speak to us from 8:00-12:00 at Sinagua Middle School.
I've read a few of his books and articles. He's good. I suspect that we, as a staff, will have much to ponder and discuss after we've listened to him.
PBIS
Our PBIS committee has been hard at work all year working to make better our Tier 1 Positive Behavior Intervention and Support program at Marshall. For the coming school year, it is our hope to implement revised incident forms to better equip us to record-keep and data-collect our interventions going forward.
The team has effectively split the existing incident referral form into two parts, a Classroom Incident Form to help teachers better manage and record classroom-level behavior interventions and consequences, and a Major Incident Form for situations that require an office referral. Both of these forms will become an essential part of our Behavioral Group Data Meeting process in the future and will be reporduced on duplicate NCR-style forms (akin to the form used by the health office) in order to allow teachers to send a copy home with students while retaining one for their records, too.

Fire Drill
We will conduct our last fire safety drill of the school year on Friday, 15 May. Please announce this drill to your classes well in advance of this date. The drill will take place at about 9:30 AM.
