TPEC Preconferences
Many of you have looked at the post/video about signing off on your TPEC preconference document. If you've already done so and completed your sign-off, thanks! If you haven't, please review the video and get-er-done ASAP. I'd like to proceed with both formal and informal evaluations beginning next week.
A few of you still need to get with me for a preconference to establish the components of your evaluation. I need to meet with Freeman, Gillmore, Luxton, Onsae, and Stern as soon as possible. Please stop by my office soon and we'll find a few minutes to get your preconference document done.
Practicum Students
Pam Powell at NAU would like to encourage you to contact her if you would like to have practicum students in your classroom this semester. If so, please send her an email with the following information: Number of practicum students you'd like to host; School name; Grade level; Your name; Your email; Subject areas of interest.
Walk To School Day
Please consider joining us at the National Guard Armory on Thorpe Road on Wednesday, 03 October for International Walk To School Day. Students may be dropped off at the Armory by their parents beginning at 7:45. Bus students who have a signed permission slip will be dropped off at the Armory throughout the morning. The first group will begin walking back to the school via Thorpe Road and the Francis Short Pond at 8:00 (a slightly different route this year due to construction). Small groups will leave at intervals thereafter. If you're willing to show up and walk with a group, we could sure use your help.

- Fit Kids personnel on-site to take student weights/measurements. They will stop by your room with the scale and take your students a few at a time.

- Site & Science Councils in the Library, 5:00-6:20
- PTO in the Library, 6:30
- Friday, 05 October
- Mustang Gallop on the Marshall Field all morning
