Hello everyone,

My cousin's mom, who is ethnically German, born and bred, often would accuse my (ethnically mid-western, always verbose, commonly hilarious) uncle of indulging his tendency to over-explain things when just a short, simple explanation would otherwise suffice. She was fond of telling him, "Jim (sounds like Cheem), you are telling us how the clock was made. We just want to know what time it is."

As delivered in her terse, authentic Bavarian dialect, I always thought my aunt's likely idiomatic analogy was a wonderfully descriptive critique of an over-explainer's guilt. And, you'll not be surprised to learn that, over the years, I myself have been accused of committing similar sins. As recently as this week, in fact. And last week. And the week before that. So, rather than commit the offense (yet again) of spending 1000 words telling all of you how the "clocks" below were made, I'm just going to tell you "what time it is" and publish them to you all today as-is and, otherwise, without comment.

Excceept to say: a bunch of us worked really hard on these plans, we talked to lots of people, listened, bargained, lobbied, bickered (just amongst ourselves, natch), sought consensus, made some legit hard decisions, pulled out our hair, lost sleep, missed lunches, stayed late, and basically printed these final drafts with our own collective blood, sweat, and tears... all for the greater good, the greater equity, the greater big-picture vision of who-and-what Marshall School is and, most importantly, all we can be for every single one of our students every single day.

So, anyway, that being said (and quite succinctly, if I do say so myself), here ya go...
