Just means I turn 50 soon. In 379 days to be exact. Dang.

Foster Grandparents
A couple gals from NAU's College of Social and Behavioral Sciences stopped by earlier this week to bring us information about the Foster Grandparents Program they coordinate. They've got a number of 55-and-older folks (soon to include me, too, I guess) who are eager and willing to volunteer as reading tutors at Marshall. They've got Foster Grandparents in several other FUSD schools and they're excited to expand their program into Marshall.
If you're at all interested in having someone from the Foster Grandparent Program volunteer on a consistent and reliable basis in your classroom, please give program coordinator, Delia Moder, a call (928 523 1082) or an email (delia.moder@nau.edu). Michele Lytle coordinates a similar program and would also like to hear from you if you have need of volunteers in your room. You can contact her at 928 523 5039 or at michele.lytle@nau.edu.

Uhhmm...
I feel like I'm forgetting something... Something important for this week's Note which, apparently, I failed to write down in my Blue Note notes. Don't be surprised if I publish a mid-week Blue Note next week if and when I remember what it is I'm forgetting.
